The official Atlanta Caribbean Carnival J'Ouvert kicks off the carnival weekend at Underground Atlanta with paint, powder, music, and outdoor revelry. Presented by the Official Atlanta Caribbean Carnival, the event invites masqueraders to bring their rags for a high-energy Friday-evening street celebration.

The 39th annual Atlanta Caribbean Carnival Parade of Bands heads north on Peachtree Street, turns west onto Ivan Allen Jr Blvd / Joseph E. Boone Blvd, and finishes at Rodney Cook Sr Park in Historic Vine City, where the Festival Village hosts live performances, food, drink, and Caribbean culture. Parade assembly begins at 9:00 AM on northbound Peachtree Street near the Ritz-Carlton Atlanta (181 Peachtree St NW); the parade route runs approximately 1.8 miles.

Submerged Cooler Fete
