Iron sharpens iron. The Benna Gladiators of Antigua's iron band riddim go head-to-head with Dominica's Bouyon Gladiators — Burning Flames against Triple K International — in a straight cultural clash for the title of the Caribbean's best indigenous riddim. One night, two riddims, two nations.

Opening of Carnival & T-Shirt Mas

Floats, steel bands, cultural characters and contestants assemble on Parliament Drive, where a short ceremony marks the official opening of the parades, before T-Shirt Mas floods the road with the first vibes of the season — no costume required, just a t-shirt and stamina. Good Morning X – D'Inclusive

Antigua's flagship all-inclusive breakfast fete. Doors open in the dark and the soca runs until midday, with premium bars, a full food spread, a stacked DJ lineup and a surprise guest artist. One of the fastest-selling tickets on the calendar.

Smalta Junior Carnival & Parade

The island's young masqueraders take the road in full costume, with Prince & Princess honours on the line — carnival's next generation in full flight. Bands assemble at Parliament Drive (Old House of Culture) from 1:30 PM and move off at 2:00 PM. Drink Till Ya Weak (Boat Cruise)

RISE: Soca Liberation

The rawest morning of the year. Revellers arrive covered in paint, powder and oil and chip through the dark behind iron bands and music trucks until the sun is high. Parade of the Bands

Carnival Tuesday and the full-costume centrepiece of the festival. Floats, steel bands, cultural characters and the season's winners assemble at the corner of Factory Road and Parliament Drive, while mas bands gather on Old Parham Road near T.N. Kirnon School.
